After months of magic and imagination nestled in the heart of our workshops, we invite you to join us alongside the mythical and powerful creatures that inspired us two new duos mixing our universes and our know-how. Here is The ancient treasure of a Unicorn horn, inspired by the Unicorn.
Discover the different elements that compose it and our inspirations:
Svnlights fell in love with a wonderful milk agate that is naturally spiral-shaped, reminiscent of the unicorn's horn. She came to create around it a crown to the glory of this mystical and wild creature. The crown embraces the horn with its leaves.
Sarahecmilla offers us a wand that skillfully unites the crown imagined by Svnlight, and the marquetry wand holder. The wand is designed in three parts, which combine woodturning and woodcarving.
The top of the wand supports the jewel created by Svnlight which is positioned like a ring on the latter, we first discover a ring made of beige alder covered with a glittery indigo resin with light effects that will allow you to discover all its depth and its multiple secrets.
Underneath it you will discover the second part, sculpted from stabilized maple which will recall the unicorn's hair, its flexibility and its movement. Its sublime colors tell us the magic of this mystical being, who like an enchanted apparition, has a coat of such pure white that it plays with the colors of the sky when the sun goes to seek rest.
Finally, the body of the wand is made with an 80-year-old ash tree from the Compiègne forest, the lands of Sarahecmilla. The central part is hand-tinted in a wine-lees burgundy and the two outer parts reveal shades of dark brown. The body is turned and then sculpted with multiple details. It invites you to look at the multiple sculpted details that recall the symbols of the crown by echoing the work of Svnlights, with the beautiful star, but also a reminder of the unicorn hair that wraps around the body of the wand. All while anchoring the unicorn in the element of earth with a branch shape.
The rings also help to maintain a beautiful visual balance and unite the different elements of the wand together.
The wand is accompanied by its wand holder, in the shape of a coat of arms made of stained solid oak wood.
Dimensions of the wand holder:
- Width: 20cm
- Height: 37.5 cm
- Thickness: 2 cm
all decorated with an original illustration imagined and made in wood marquetry by Alliancedessences. The latter recalls the ancient coats of arms, in memory of the creatures of yesteryear, this wild and mysterious being, this rearing and offering its strength and nobility.
The wood marquetry (rosewood, black stained sycamore, Ziricot, discolored wavy sycamore, boxwood, eucalyptus) is worked with a slight excess thickness, playing with the light and inviting you to pass your hand over this wild animal. The marquetry is topped with a representation of the unicorn constellation made of brass decorated with fine purple stones, echoing the stars that adorn the wand.
The support will allow you to display your magic treasure thanks to two brass rings, one positioned under a ring of the body and a second ring at the tip of the wand
The bottom of the wand holder is decorated with a labradorite tassel.
The latter will be entrusted to you with its case, a custom-made wooden box made by Sarahecmilla, magnified with an antique velvet from 1910, in a sublime warm brown.
An extraordinary trio, combining ancient and precious know-how, but also three craftswomen from the modern world.
This creation is unique, designed and manufactured in our workshops; also in order to ensure its longevity, it is preferable to offer it special attention.
It is therefore recommended to avoid exposing it to water or any product that may contain alcohol (perfume, cream, lacquer, etc.). In addition, the wood that constitutes your creation is a living material, particularly sensitive to ultraviolet rays. To preserve its colors, it is therefore advisable to avoid exposing it directly to sunlight. Cleaning is possible with a soft cloth.
